Dusty Hat Ranch is a family run ranch located in Plamondon, Alberta. We have been working together to keep improving our bloodlines and horses.
The foundation of our breeding program was started by our late stallion Solfree Peppy San, a stallion with the bloodline of legendary world champion cow horses, gentle mind, conformation and athleticism were generously passed down to his offspring. We bred him with hand selected mares who had good minds and solid conformation. We raised up the best fillies to cross with our younger stallion Rhinestone Rey DR.
Rhinestone Rey DR, who carries todays biggest names in the working cow horse arena, when crossed with our Solfree Peppy San daughters creates horses with todays agile cow horse bloodlines, highly trainable minds and strong conformation.
To maintain our breeding focus of raising a solid ranch horse that has the brains, build and stamina to last all day on the ranch or be a contender in the arena, we are now introducing the next stage in our program.
Crossing Stoli Fire on our Solfree Peppy San/Rhinestone Rey DR offspring will ignite speed and agility in the cow horses, creating the ultimate versatile performance horse.
